The latest readers' mails concern the over-elaborate celebrations some players are using after scoring a goal, Pirates' loss to Sundowns, and more...
It was mockery
With reference to the PSL match between Pirates and Downs, which Downs won convincingly. I am referring to the celebration of Surprise Moriri, in particular. After scoring both of his goals, he held his stomach as if he had stomach pains.
We are all aware of the food poisoning suffered by Bucs in Cape Town. There were rumours that Chiefs were behind the food poisoning so that they can close in on Bucs.
My point is that kind of celebration was pure mockery of something bad that happened to the Bucs team and should not be used to as and object of scorn or laugher.
The Chelsea coach was charged for putting the game into disrepute and fined respectively, for pointing a finger to Barcelona fans. I am a Chief supporter as you would know but detested that kind of celebration. It also has potential of causing crowd trouble because it reminds them of their teams unfortunate event (food poising).
In a penalty shootout between Chiefs and Sundowns years ago, Lovers Mohlala had a very kinky celebration shown on tv, it was also overlooked. Carlos Scott also had his that looked like urinating or doing something weird with himself, it was also overlooked.
If possible, the PSL should take a serious look at these celebrations, in as much as they penalize a player who takes off his jersey during celebration.

'We do records comments for reference'
Last year after Mamelodi Sundowns walloped Kaizer Chiefs - 'Amakhozikazi' and Orlando Pirates - 'Bite-rats', Mr. Khulani Silwanyana claimed that Sundowns will never beat Pirates on their day since they were tired after coming from Africa.
I wonder what he is saying now, for sure the man will be claiming they were suffering from stomach aches as Surprise Moriri demonstrated. May people learn to appreciate like Mike Mangena as he did give credit after the game.
The other person who disappointed is Tebogo Moloi who kept on giving excuses about, how the referee mishandled the game. Tebza you were completely chewed and accept it and learn to appreciate broer.
As for Pirates supporters who do not want to accept defeat and said if it was not the lost of concentration from their defence, the results could have been different. I think it is time to realize that the defence were forced by the attacking tactics of Sundowns to loose their concentration, thus the credit should go to Sundowns players and the technical team as well.
What could be wrong if one could say the game was critical and Sundowns players managed to frustrate our players and as the results they won? Congratulations to the team. I think there is no harm in the statement, to the Pirates coach Papic keep it up you never blamed any one and coaches like Ted should learn from you. And please make sure you also give that lesson to Tebogo Moloi and other Pirates supporters.
I will be coming back with more watch the space, and constructive replies will be appreciated Thank you.

'Concerned about the way Kaizer chiefs is playing'
I am very concerned about the way Kaizer Chiefs is playing. I don't think the guys are up to it winning the league for us.
We keep playing draws with small teams and Ted is not worried about it becoz he's planning 2 win champions league, well I don't think we'll win with the way Chiefs is playing. Since Ted's arrived small teams have been troubling Chiefs .
I think Ted doesn't have strategy for the boys he just says "go boys and play". How can Chiefs beat Esparance ( Real Madrid of Africa) while it is still troubled by small teams?.
I think Ted you should leave and let Mdogish & khuse 2 handle the boys then we'll see the real Amakhosi. I just want to ask "how can we beat this team since it is a strong team and is been troubling Amakhosi too?".
