Top eight battle ends even 02/05/05
Two teams battling it out for a top eight finish, Golden Arrows and Silver Stars, played out to a 1-1 draw at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

As usual, Stars created many chances and should probably have won the game if it were not for some poor finishing.

Abafana Bes'thende took the lead in the 36th minute when Richard Henyekane scored with a good shot from outside the area after having being set up by Ace Gulwa.

The 'Lions of the North' applied relentless pressure on the host's rearguard in the second half and their efforts were rewarded when Brian van Wyk scored with a great shot from outside the box.
