Ajax Cape Town are determined to hold onto their new signing Muamba Musasa.
The club thought that the deal with the 20-year old DRC player was sealed, but it has now emerged that the player has signed up with Orlando Pirates.
Understandably the Ajax officials are not happy with the current situation and are determined to get to the bottom of the matter.
Ajax CEO John Commitis said: "As far as we are concerned, Muamba has signed a three-year contract with us. His work permit and all the necessary paperwork was in place and to our knowledge the deal was complete.
"What happened subsequently we are not exactly sure, but it seems as if the player has gone ahead and signed a second contract with Orlando Pirates," he added.
The Ajax boss went on to say that the club does not intend to let the matter rest until all the relevant legal avenues are explored.
"Obviously we are unhappy about the situation and the club intends to follow all the necessary channels in order to dispute the situation" he said.
