Newly promoted Premier Soccer League (PSL) team Zulu Royals are interested in signing two Cape Town Ajax players - attacking midfielder Mfundo Mathonsi as well as goalkeeper Oscar Ramogoadi.
Mathonsi, who comes from Umlazi near Durban, spent a while at Turkish First Division side Altayspor, before re-joining with Ajax last season.
Since his return to the Urban Warriors, Mathonsi has enjoyed very little playing time and will therefore be keen to get his career back on track with Zulu royals.
Ramogoadi has been with Ajax for four seasons after graduating from the Safa School of Excellence, but he has also been unable to stamp his authority on the team due to the presence of high quality keepers at the club such as Calvin Marlin and Moeneeb Josephs.
Royals (formerly Amazulu) have been somewhat of a "yo-yo" club in recent times, having moved up and down between the PSL and the MTN First Division.
The team's management is now keen to make sure that they maintain their current PSL status and have made a number of signings to strengthen their squad, including the likes of Lucky Maselesele, Thabiso Malatsi, Gary Goldstone (All Chiefs), Ivan Zwane, Jacky Ledwaba (both Dynamos), Abram Nteo (Hellenic), Emmanuel Ngobese (Premier United- First Division), Francois Adams (Swallows).
