Sizwile School for the Deaf, who were officially opening their new resource centre, was adopted by the TOTAL interns as one of their projects for the year.
As it was also Arbor week, a commitment sponsored by TOTAL for the past eight years, the Moroka Swallows players and officials, who arrived in their new kit, were each asked to plant a tree for each class.
Learners were excited to meet their heros and Gary McNab paid tribute to the school that was promoting deaf awareness.
The school was presented with an autographed team jersey and balls, were also invited to one of Swallows home games this year.
Each of the players was also presented with the Department of Education and Trainings book titled 'Talking to the Deaf'.
Thanks to our boys and TOTAL, these children may have a slight disability, but we know where their hearts lie.
