Birds held by 10-man Hellenic 16/05/04
10-Man Hellenic held Moroka Swallows to a 1-1 draw in a Castle Premiership match played at PAM Brink Stadium in Springs on Sunday afternoon.

The Beautiful Birds were the first to find the back of the net through their captain Goodman Mazibuko who headed home a corner kick by Pitso Lekone in the 17th minute.

Just as Swallows thought they were going to the break leading, relegation candidates Hellenic found the equaliser when former Ajax and Sundowns defender Sipho Ndzuzo scored with a header from a Tshepo Masilela cross which gave the visitors keeper Greg Etafia no chance in the last minute of the first half.

Referee Morne Daniels reduced Hellenic to ten men in the 74th minute when he send striker Masixole May for an early shower for a second bookable offence.

Swallows did not manage to use the extra man advantage and there were no more goals in this match.

Hellenic's days in the Castle Premiership are numbered after managing to win only three matches out of 27 they have 16 points with three games left before the season comes to an end.
