Moroka Swallows Support Kenilworth Day Care centre 19/08/04
As part of the Birds' social responsibility programme, we have arranged a function on the 11th September at McDonalds in Turffontein in aid of Kenilworth Day Care centre.

10 % of all food sold at McDonalds between 12.30 and 14h00 will be given to the centre. Ronald McDonald the McDonalds character will be there on the day.

There will be jumping castles and balloons for the kiddies. Our players will be there signing autographs.

Tickets for our match against Dynamos on the 12th will be sold on the 11th at the function at only R15.00 each.

R5.00 from each ticket sold will go towards Kenilworth Day Care Centre, at 15H45 we will be doing lucky draws, the numbers coming from tickets sold...

Also included on the day will be membership forms where members old and new may sign up, supporters to bring 2 id photos.

Kenilworth Day Care Centre is situated a stones throw from the Rand Stadium; they currently look after and feed 116 children daily, a task which is becoming impossible.

The centre may be forced to close down because of their financial situation, should this happen the children will have nowhere to go as most of them do not have the funds for fees and could be left to provide for themselves.

We have decided to put this centre in our yearly schedule as part of our social responsibility programme.  Should there be any companies or individuals who would like to donate in any form, please contact Michelle on 011 484-6131.
