Moroka Swallows' experienced defender Gary McNab says that he, along with the rest of the Birds' defenders, are looking forward to facing Sundowns' Peter Ndlovu on Sunday.
Ndlovu did not score in the Brazilians' 2-0 win over Santos on Wednesday night, however, the veteran striker looked very sharp and is bound to give PSL defenders a torrid time.
The Birds are squaring up to the Brazilians on Sunday, and Ndlovu is the man that everyone will be watching after his much talked about move from Sheffield United to Sundowns.
McNab, is however, fully aware of the challenge that lies ahead of the team.
"Our defenders are looking forward to coming up against Ndlovu," he told Soccer Laduma.
'He is a player who has played at the very top level in England. I don't think any of our defenders will have come across anything like him in our league.
"He will play the game a bit differently to what we are used to I'm sure. Having spent some time playing overseas I know that players overseas get a bit more time on the ball than they get over here."
Swallows, however, have some very useful attacking potions of their own and the Downs defenders are likely to have a tough time keeping the likes of Lungisani Ndela, Dennis Lota, Cecil Oerson and Alois Ngwerume at bay.
The former club captain also went on to mention that there are no injury worries in the Birds camp the new players in the squad have settled in well and that there is a good team spirit amongst the players.
