Lets get behind the team - Xulu 14/12/04
Moroka Swallows PRO Sipho Xulu has urged the Birds supporters to support the team as a whole, and not to concentrate on individual players.

"First of all I would like to thank the fans for their undying support so far this season," said Xulu.

"We had a good turnout in our last home game before the Christmas break against Cosmos, and the club appreciates this and we encourage the fans to keep coming out in their numbers next year."

Xulu was however concerned at the way in which some of the fans voiced their unhappiness at certain players who were selected in the starting line-up.

"I appeal to our fans to stand behind the team as a whole, we need to stop this culture of just supporting certain individuals.

"It is important for the fans to accept that on the field of play we need to be result orientated and they should respect the coach's decisions."

Xulu then went on to confirm that the team has a almost entirely clean bill of health ahead of this Sunday's clash against Golden Arrows, with defenders Mohammed Ouseb and Peter Petersen the only injury worries, although both are reported to be well on their way to recovery.
