Moroka Swallows captain Goodman Mazibuko says that the players are fully focussed on winning title honours after last season's disappointing end to the season.
Swallows recently tasted defeat in the Coke Cup to Kaizer Chiefs, but bounced back with a win against Jomo Cosmos last weekend.
"We were nervous before the game because Cosmos had just won two matches in a row, but the boys did well to get all three points, which was our main objective," said the midfield strong man.
Mazibuko revealed that all the team's energy will now be spent on mounting a serious challenge for the Castle Premiership title.
"All the players no what happened last season when we drew too many games, but this time around they really want the league title," said the Birds skipper.
"We may be playing our last match of the year against Arrows on Sunday, but I assure you that the players won't be relaxing too much over the festive season because our first game back is against Kaizer Chiefs and we want some serious payback for the recent Cup defeats we suffered at the hands of the Amakhosi."
