Moroka Swallows striker Pitso Lekone believes the Dube Birds have a psychological advantage over Sunday's Absa Cup quarter-final opponents Wits University.
The 2004 Absa Cup champions have already beaten Roger de Sa's team twice in the Castle Premiership this season, the latest being the 2-0 victory at the Bidvest Stadium a fortnight ago.
"The players are ready and the fact that we seem to beat Wits every time will be an added advantage because we know them. We will beat Wits and defend our trophy," said Lekone, who scored in the last match against the Students.
Although Lekone admitted the game is a 'must-win' encounter, he claims the players accept the pressures of having to bring the trophy back to the Rand Stadium this year.
"As defending champions, we have a mandate to defend our what is ours. I know it is not going to be easy, but our supporters and management will accept nothing less than victory," he told Soccer Laduma.
"I know the pressure is on us, and being the defending champions will not make our job any easier but we are equal to the task."
