Junior Birds draw with Pirates 25/04/05
The u-17 and u-19 Moroka Swallows sides retained their positions at the top of their respective logs after both drawing to Orlando Pirates on the weekend.

22nd April 2005:

Under 15's
The under 15 team played against Benoni Northerns and drew 0-0.
Under 17's

The team still retains their place at the top of the log after drawing with Pirates, 2-2 all.  Moroka Swallows were down 2 nil, but showed their fighting spirit and managed to draw level. Both goals were scored by no 6, Ace Bulgue. who resembles former Birds striker Lungisani Ndlela.
Under 19's

The u-19's still retain their place at the top by drawing with Pirates 1-1. Lehlonoholo Nonyane was the goal scorer for Swallows with a thunderous shot from his left foot in the first 10 minutes.

The match was a hotly contested affair with Swallows unlucky not to come away with 3 points.
Both teams are playing in the reserve league which means they are playing against players at least 2 to 3 years older than them, this shows the depth that we have at Moroka Swallows and our youth are able to compete at any level.
This weeks fixtures:
Under 17 and 19's: at home to Florida Albion, kick off times 14h00 Saturday 30th April.
Under 15's:  away to Alberton, kick off at 10.00am, Sunday 1st May
