Moroka Swallows go into Wednesday night's game against SuperSport United hoping to gain revenge for their SAA Supa 8 loss, while they will also be looking to earn their first Castle Premiership win of the season.
Unfortunately for Birds coach Gavin Hunt, none of the players currently out injured will be ready to return to the squad for Wednesday's match, which will make it difficult for him to change the game plan from the one which he implemented in Sunday's loss to SuperSport.
However, as Hunt pointed out after Sunday's game, his team were by no means outplayed (especially in the second half), but rather conceded unnecessary goals due to defensive slip-ups.
"Not much has changed with the injury situation, it has only been two days since the last game. I will look at things here and there, but at the end of the day we defended badly on Sunday and we have to sort that ou," he said.
"I still have at least seven key players out, but we are just going to have to make do and will be going out to do our best to get all three points.
Former Sundowns midfielder Joseph Mthombeni has been training with the team in recent days, but it has been confirmed that he will not be signing for the team.
"We were just having a look at Joseph, but we will not be signing him because we have enough players who can play in that role, such as Lefa Tsutsulupa and Thapelo Liau," said Hunt.
