Junior Swallows update with Paul Habib

Moroka Swallows Under-19 team played to a 3-3 draw against their Mamelodi Sundowns counterparts on Saturday.

The Young Birds drew blood in the fifth minute, but found themselves trailing the Chloorkop side by 3-1 goals to one deep in the second half.

The match was a ding-dong affair with both teams displaying open, attacking football.

The Birds'Ace' Benze earned himself a brace, whilst Quenton Ramamape scored one goal.

Log leaders Swallows currently lead second-placed Sundowns by two points. Both clubs are left with four matches to play before the season reaches an end.

The boys have played extremely well this season and this result will not discourage us in any way, Paul Habib, the Head of the Moroka Swallows Youth Development Programme told the official Swallows website.

They came at us with the intention of scoring quick goals and then defending but we showed that we can come back very strongly when we need to. I am proud of my boys."
Its bound to be an exciting climax!
