'Junior Birds' maintain good form


Moroka Swallows' Under-19s continued their recent good form when they beat Kwa-Thema Stars by 3-0 in their first Metropolitan Cup match played at the Actonville Stadium on Thursday night.

Ace Bhengu registered a brace, whilst Daniel Hlabangane ensured the 'Junior Birds' victory with his single strike.

The U19s' next match in the Metropolitan competition will be played on Friday, March 31 and kick-off is scheduled for 17h00.

The squad is currently also preparing for the Bayhill Cup to be played in Cape Town from April 12-17.
