In the Birds nest

Michelle Varner, Moroka Swallows' Markerting Director, gives us an update on what's happening in the Beautiful Birds'nest - looking at the club's Under-19 side and the ladies!

UNDER-19s UPDATE:

Our Under-19s qualified for the National Metropolitan play-offs, after a gruelling three days' play.

We are exceptionally proud of our youngsters and praise must also go to Paul Habib, the Head of Development, coaches Kabelo, Ace Mnini and Andries Mapondo. This is a milestone in the history of Moroka Swallows, whilst we are also the only Gauteng-based PSL academy to have qualified.

LADIES UPDATE:

Our ladies lost their first match of the season to Vosloorus All Stars - going down 5-3 this past weekend.

BIRTHDAYS:

Edzai Kasinauyo and Marketing Assistant Nelson Mariri on Tuesday, March 28, Mame Niang on Thursday, March 30.

We wish them all the best and another 100 years!
