'Birds' Under-17s win the league

Moroka Swallows Head of Development Paul Habib has congratulated the 'Birds' Under-17 team for winning the league - with one game remaining.

"I would like to congratulate Reginald Ketze (coach) and Thabo Molefe (assistant coach) for guiding the boys towards this great achievement," Habib told the official Swallows website.

He added: "I would also like to congratulate the boys for their hard work and dedication. Our boys showed character when the going got tough and they must be commended for that.

"On behalf of the Swallows management, I want to say well done, boys!"

Meanwhile, Habib revealed that Ketze and Peter Tressel (Under-15 coach) would be attending a Level Two coaching course soon.

"I wish the two coaches the best of luck in their training and I hope they make the best of this opportunity," he concluded.
