'Birds' Reserve League update - 01/05/07

Moroka Swallows' Reserve League team lost 1-3 to the Jomo Cosmos Reserves in their Premier Soccer League (PSL) Reserve League clash at Germiston Stadium on Monday afternoon.

First team coach Gavin Hunt once again presided over the encounter, making use of no less than nine development players in his bid to build a strong squad for next season.

The future looks bright for the 'Beautiful Birds', with the Swallows youngsters matching their opponents for the most part, before a lack of composure in defence saw them concede three goals to the more experienced Cosmos side made up mostly of first team players.

Great news - we can continue to build around him!
Wonderful, but there is too much pressure on him.
It doesn't matter, as I was already resigned to losing him...
