Preview - Moroka Swallows v Wits
In-form Moroka Swallows midfielder Lefa Tsutsulupa believes the 'Beautiful Birds' will maintain their winning ways when they face Bidvest Wits in a Castle Premiership clash at Germiston Stadium on Wednesday afternoon (kick-off 3.45pm).
"We have learned from our past mistakes," Tsutsulupa told the official Swallows website.
"You can see from our previous game against Benoni Premier United that the guys are ready to die for the team."
Tsutsulupa attributed this commitment to the support given to them by the club's fantastic supporters.
"Our supporters seem to have changed their attitudes towards the team. They are now cheering us on even when things are not going well for us and this motivates the players to fight harder. I want to thank them for that," said the man who scored Swallows' winning goal against Benoni Premier United at the weekend.
He added: "I would like to urge them to continue supporting us and, in return, we will do everything in our power to repay their faith in the field of play."
Wits' Pele de Jesus is expected to be the man to watch if Swallows do not want to suffer the same fate suffered by Kaizer Chiefs when the Brazilian scored a brace to sink the 'Amakhosi' ship earlier this season.
"We are not worried about Pele because we have guys who can take care of him, but having said that it will be unwise to watch him only because Wits have other players who can do the damage for them," Tsutsulupa continued.
"We have to make sure that we don't give Wits any space to work on and in return we have to create goal-scoring opportunities for ourselves. That's the only way we are ever going to win this match."
