The organisers of the inaugural premier football tournament, the Cape Town Soccer Challenge, are delighted to announce that Moroka Swallows Football Club will join the event.
The Dube Birds will replace Chippa United who have been withdrawn from the contest by tournament management owing to various reasons.
Moroka Swallows is one of the original Soweto giants, together with Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, with a respectable national fan base and will inject more substance to the pre-season tournament.
Previous matches between all the four participants which include the current premiership champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, last year's Nedbank Cup runners-up, Wits University and Ajax, have been end-to-end mouth watering encounters. There's no doubt that sparks will fly during the event and all the clubs will get the necessary tough preparations they need for pre-season.
