In a bid to restore the club's former glory and beautiful style of play, Moroka Swallows has pulled out all the stops to bring Julio Cesar Leal, a highly acclaimed Brazilian coach, on board.
Leal's coaching credentials speak for themselves, with achievements that include having won the U20 World Cup - with Brazil - as head coach.
He was also Carlos Parreira's technical assistant at the 2006 World Cup and has coached top teams such as Flamengo and Fluminese (of Brazil).
Included in the new squad is the Brazilian trio of Igor Alves, an attacking midfielder, and defenders Vinicius Da Silva and Davi Rancan Afonso.
Locally, the club has signed Ryan Botha from Thanda Royal Zulu FC and Morgan Shivambu from Winners Park.
From the Development Academy, the talented Daniel Hlabangane and Ace Bhengu have been promoted to the first team.
