KOs, venues announced for Nedbank Cup


The Premier Soccer League (PSL) on Monday confirmed the venues and dates for the 2007/08 Nedbank Cup Preliminary Round.

This part of the competition will be contested by the eight Inland and Coastal teams of the National First Division (NFD).

All eight matches will take place on the weekend of January 25, 26 and 27.

The winners of this first round will face teams from the PSL's Absa Premiership in the next knockout stage.

Friday, January 25:
Match 1:
Maritzburg United v African Warriors
Harry Gwala Stadium, kick-off: 4pm

Match 2: University of Pretoria v Nathi Lions FC
Absa Stadium, kick-off: 8pm

Match 3: Durban Stars v Hanover Park
Chatsworth Stadium, kick-off: 8pm

Saturday, January 26:
Match 4:
Witbank Spurs v Ikapa Sporting
Ackerville Stadium, kick-off: 3pm

Match 5: Dynamos v FC Cape Town
Lulekani Stadium, kick-off: 3pm

Match 6: Ga-Rankuwa United v MP Black Aces
Caledonian Stadium, kick-off: 3pm

Sunday, January 27:
Match 7:
F.C. AK v Western Province Utd
Eldorado Park Stadium, kick-off: 3pm

Match 8: Winners Park v Bay United
