Preview - Silver Stars v Leopards

Silver Stars will be looking to maintain their lead at the top of the 2006/07 Castle Premiership standings when they host Black Leopards at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 3.45pm).

The two teams played to a goalless draw in the first round in Thohoyandou, but Stars manager Thamaga Mokgophi says 'The Tycoons' will not read too much into their past results against 'Lidoda Duvha'.

"We need to be very cautious throughout the match," Mokgophi told the official Stars website. "Though we are bracing ourselves for a stiff opposition on Sunday, we will throw everything at Leopards.

Meanwhile, Stars coach Owen da Gama and his technical team spent most of the week doing strength, fitness and technical skills in preparation for Sunday's match.

"There's going to be no complacency on our side," said Da Gama.

He added: "We have upped the training antics and the squad has been doing two sessions a day."

Black Leopards will be hoping for better luck this weekend, after their midweek Castle Premiership clash against the embattled Orlando Pirates was called off after a freak storm hit Ellis Park.
