Preview - Premier Utd v Celtic
An on-song Bloemfontein Celtic will be looking to stop Benoni Premier United's efforts to record their first Castle Premiership win in 2007 when the two teams meet at Mehlareng Stadium on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 3.45pm).
United have lost all three of their league encounters this year - against Ajax Cape Town, fellow strugglers Golden Arrows and Kaizer Chiefs.
The morale is at an all-time low in United's camp, after they were given an ultimatum by the club's management following the loss to Arrows.
Chiefs added to the 'Rabbits' sorrows by beating them 2-0 and thereby pushing them down to 11th position in the Castle Premiership standings.
Whilst Celtic will rely on their electrifying '12th man' - their ever-present band of supporters who sing from the first second till the final whistle; whatever the result - their recent results have been positive and they currently lie in seventh position on the PSL log.
Their supporters are in an especially buoyant mood following Celtic's 3-1 victory over Orlando Pirates in their last league match.
But Celtic's Communications Manager Sello Nduna told The Sowetan this week that all celebrations were a thing of the past and that all the players had been training hard for the clash against Benoni.
"The expectations are even higher after the win over Pirates," said Nduna.
"We are going to Tembisa with one thing in mind - to win the game and intensify our challenge to finish the season in the top-four bracket."
