Senegal announce AFCON squad
Senegal coach Henri Kasperczak has named a 23-man squad for the 2008 African Nations Cup, which takes place in Ghana from January 20 to February 10.
Kasperczak's squad includes seven England-based players; Habib Beye, Abdoulaye Diagne Faye (both Newcastle), Reading's Ibrahima Sonko, Pape Bouba Diop (Portsmouth), Fulham's Diomansy Kamara, Bolton's El Hadji Diouf (pictured) and Henri Camara, who plays for Bolton.
However, a number of the Senegal squad plays its club football in France, with a further nine players based there.
Senegal are drawn in Group D along with Tunisia, South Africa and Angola.
