ABSA Cup Final set for Durban
Wednesday May 03 2006
Premier Soccer League (PSL) CEO Trevor Phillips announced on Wednesday that the ABSA Cup Final match between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will be played at ABSA Stadium in Durban on May 20, 2006.
Phillips' announcement ends speculation about the venue of the 2005/06 ABSA Cup Final.
Earlier reports indicated that the match might be played at Johannesburg's FNB Stadium. But the tournament's constitution states that the final should be played at a neutral venue and FNB Stadium is Chiefs' home ground.
