The battle for top eight finish

Golden Arrows and Jomo Cosmos will battle for a top eight finish when they meet in a crunch Castle Premiership match at King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 3.15pm).

'Ezenkosi' are currently in sixth position in the Premiership standings, whilst 'Abafana Bes'thende' are lying in eighth place. A win for either team would guarantee an automatic ticket into the SAA Supa8 competition.

"We have overcome our first fear, which is relegation. Now we are not only focused on making it to the Top 8, we must prove that our winning the Coca-Cola Cup was no fluke," Cosmos skipper Clint Sephadi told his club's official website.

He added: "Its not going to be an easy task because Golden Arrows are more or less in a similar situation, but we are more than capable of securing the three points at stake."

Cosmos and Arrows played to a 1-all stalemate when they last met in Germiston, in November 2005
