Dynamos, Stars in 'must-win' clash

The battle to remain in the Castle Premiership is set to transform the clash between Dynamos and Free State Stars into an explosive encounter when the two teams meet at the Giyani Stadium on Sunday at 3.15pm.

The 'Dynamites' - who have blown hot and cold this season - are expected to fire on all cylinders against the Free Staters, in their bid to avoid the 'big chop'.

The Limpopo-based side lost 2-0, away, to second-placed Orlando Pirates in their last league encounter and they will be looking at coming back from this defeat.

'Ri Khomeni Ri Nga Peli' will be dependent on the prolific Mpho Maleka to score the much-needed goals.

Free State Stars are equally in need of goals and it will come as no surprise if veteran assistant coach, Wilfred 'Silver Fox' Mugeyi, dons the red, blue and white jersey and takes to the field himself!

Stars have scored a respectable 34 goals, a tally which puts them at five strikes behind second-placed Orlando Pirates in the 'Goals For' stakes. Their biggest handicap during the season has been none other than the number of matches they have drawn - a massive 16.

'Ea lla koto' will not only depend on the goal-poaching prowess of Mugeyi, however. They will also be relying on the talented Alois Ngwerume, midfielder Hleza 'Gaggy' Mofedi and Jimmy 'Gusheshe' Kauleza to save their club from being relegated to the Mvela Golden League for next season.
