In the Birds' Nest

This week's 'In the Birds' Nest' column is a bumper edition that continues to keep YOU, the Moroka Swallows supporter, up-to-date with all the developments at the club.

The Moroka Swallows Operation 'Search and Find' Roadshow continues and the following meetings are set to take place:

All branches from Ekurhuleni will meet on Sunday, May 14 at 10am at Keketso School Hall in Phoko section, Katlehong.

Other meetings are scheduled for:

Sunday, May 14 at 9am: Batloung School Sebokeng, Masuna papa, Sharpville, 31 Ramano Street Saulsville, Pretoria

On Sunday, May, 21 all branches from Tshwane will meet at Odi sports centre at 10am.

Moroka Swallows is committed to taking the club back to its roots and playing home games in Soweto. However, the 2010 stadium renovation plans have made all current stadiums in Soweto unavailable. We have had a meeting with the 2010 project management team and will have a report back by the end of May on available stadiums for the 2006/07 season.

We are off the field, but on the road to prepare for a new season in which we will be celebrating our 60-year anniversary, and that means no resting in the nest. We extend a word of appreciation to all you Birds loving people for the support you have given to our team during this difficult and painful season. We couldn't have finished in (fourth) position without your support.
