The following first team players are injured: T. Mokoro, A. Oppermann, M. Ouseb, G. Mazibuko, and B. Gugger. We hope that they will recover soon as we need to have them back before the start of the season. Ouseb is however expected to stay on the touchlines for a longer period.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
A whopping total of 16 Moroka Swallows Youth Development Programme players were selected to represent Gauteng East District in the SAFA District Tournament, which will be held at Mark's Park in Johannesburg at the end of August.
The following players are currently in Egypt with the Under-17 National team: Ramahlwe Mphahlelele (captain), Thulani Ngcipe, Matalingoana Serame.
This team will be playing its first game in the SuperSport Under-19 Soccer Tournament, which will be played at the SAFA-Simba Stadium in Pimville, Soweto.
They will play against Santos FC on Friday, August 4 (10.45), your support will be much appreciated.
In line with our Social Responsibility Programme, we recently paid a visit to the Sunflower House of St. Nicholas Children's Hospice in Richard Park, Bloemfontein.
The Sunflower House is only a small part of the St Nicolas Children's Hospice, which hosts 20 children. The Hospice as a whole hosts approximately 700 children in different homes.
It was only a matter of seconds before the players were holding, cuddling and playing with the children. We took pictures, gave away t-shirts and handed them a cash donation.
All members who have received their cards are reminded not to use their card until they have received their secret pin code. Should you not receive your pin code within 21 days after receiving your card, please contact the office at 011-484 6131 during office hours.
HUMAN RESOURCESS MANAGEMENT
The club will unveil its new Public Relations Officer (PRO) during the month of August.
He will be exclusively introduced on the club's official website, morokaswallows.co.za, and will undergo a one month induction before his official appointment in September.
We are very proud to announce the appointment of Eddie Caluza as the club's Security Manager.
Eddie will be responsible for team and matchday security and co-ordination.
He has a wealth of experience as a previous member of the South African Police Services (SAPS), as well as international experience, which he attained as a member of the Welsh-based Cardiff City Football Club (F.C) in the United Kingdom. The club is looking to set new standards with regards to the supporters' matchday experience and we wish Eddie well in helping us to achieve these goals.
