Calling On All 'aMaswai-Swai':
With Sipho Xulu
The games begin, let's attend Maswaiswai. Our first mission is to win the SAA Supa8 title, in order to accomplish it we must defeat Silver Stars whom we meet on Sunday, August 20 at Germiston stadium. We know that without all of us standing together the battle will be half lost before it even begins, we therefore urge all supporters to come in our numbers like never before.
Collectively we are charged with the responsibility to make this season our best , i.e. on and off the field; especially because we celebrate our 60th anniversary.
I guess there is no better place and time to start our celebration than at this game, where we must be visible and vocal as individual, branches, ex-players, ex-officials, club shareholders and loyal friends of 'The Birds'.
Gates will be opened at 11.00 and tickets are available from Computicket and Shoprite-Checkers.
They are priced at affordable prices of R20 (Adults) and R10 (Juveniles).
It is recommended that you buy your ticket in advance to avoid disappointment.
Our second official game of the season - which will also be our first league game - takes place on Saturday, August 26, against Black Leopards in Thohoyandou.
Should you wish to go watch this match, please contact the office no latter than 12.00 on Tuesday, August 22, i.e. to make transport arrangements.
