Monday September 04 2006
Ntambi Ravele, PSL General Manager for Marketing and Communications, has expressed her satisfaction with the outcome of the recently-held Marketing and Communications Workshop in Johannesburg.
"The PSL is pleased with the deliberations of the workshop, particularly the fact that we have started to get the ball rolling by not only appointing a Working Committee, but by also making a commitment towards holding similar workshops with the leagues other commercial stakeholders, i.e. besides the SAB", Ravele told the official PSL website.
The Marketing and Communications Working Committee has been tasked with the responsibility of exploring measures through which the resolutions can be implemented.
The participants were drawn from all 32 clubs affiliated to both the PSL and the National First Division (NFD). These participants also expressed their gratitude and delight to the League and sponsor for hosting such a seminar.
"It was worth the while. The good aspect about it is that it has put everyone on the same wave-length regarding the way forward; and what needs to be done to be able to reach that destination," Ajax Cape Town PRO and Marketing Manager Thabiso 'Shooz' Mekuto commented.
"Definitely a great initiative from PSL ; it helps the league to become a friendly institution."
Thebe Mohatle, Kaizer Chiefs PRO - was equally impressed with the useful nature of the event.
"It is a step in the right direction, Kaizer Chiefs is thankful to the PSL, and SAB for hosting this workshop, the challenge now is to implement the resolution taken."
