Baymed semi-finalists declare 'war'

Brand Managers and Public Relations Officers from three of the remaining four clubs remaining in the 2006/07 Baymed Cup have declared their respective team's intentions to capture the first ever knockout cup competition in the National First Division.

Heres what they had to say:

Rantsi Mokoena - Free State Stars
"Thank you to the sponsors, Baymed Medical Aid Scheme and the National First Division for this opportunity to play in this tournament. The Baymed Cup has brought new excitement to the Mvela League.

"We'll play hard and hope that we'll progress to the next round, and keep this beautiful trophy in our cabinet."

Daniel Modau - FC AK
"We've got lots of big name players, many who are well known in the PSL. But Dynamos are a good side and we will give Dynamos the respect they deserve."

Sinky Minisi - Dynamos
"At the match yesterday, I told someone that I wished we could draw FC AK because there is so much 'noise' about this club, and now that has come true!

"Even though we were drawn first, the rules of the Semi Finals dictate that venue will be neutral. But we have certain privileges as the hosting team, and so it doesn't matter where we're going to play this fixture, we'll make sure that we are 'in charge' at that venue. We're going to test FC AK to see if they can run."

No representatives from Garankuwa United attended the Draw.

Venues for the Semi Finals and Finals of the Baymed Cup are not on a home and away basis, but are decided by the Cup Committee.
