Swallows outshine Stars

Moroka Swallows beat Silver Stars 1-0 in a gruelling Castle Premiership clash played at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Sunday.

Both teams finished the match with ten men, with a player from each side being sent off. Swallows lost striker Henrico Botes in the 65th minute, whilst Stars had to finish the match without Stanley Kgatla.

Evans Gwekwerere scored for Swallows in the dying minutes to seal the victory for the 'Birds'.

The goal was enough to earn Swallows all three points on offer on the day as Stars failed to find the equaliser with hardly any time remaining.
