FIFA Press Conference goes live

FIFA Media Services has announced that the press conference that follows from Friday's Executive Committee meeting, will be streamed live on the organisation's official website,

The FIFA Executive Committee, chaired by President Joseph S. Blatter, will be meeting for the first time since the successful conclusion of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.

FIFA's flagship event, including the 2010 competition in South Africa and various related projects, will be the subject of reports, discussions and decisions. The "Win in Africa with Africa" initiative, which will run alongside the 2010 World Cup, is now taking shape and the "FIFA Fund for a Better World" requires ratification.

The press conference begins at 1600 CET, and will be attaned by  Blatter, Director of Communications Markus Siegler and General Secretary Urs Linsi.
