'Derbies' preparations going smoothly

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has announced that the preparations for the SAA Supa 8 semi-final matches are going according to plan. This was confirmed by PSL General Manager for Marketing and Communications Ntambi Ravele; at a press conference held at the league's offices on Tuesday.
The 'Pretoria Derby' between Sundowns and SuperSport, takes place at the Olympia Stadium in Rustenburg on Saturday, September, 23 (Kick-off: 15.15);
"We are encouraging the football-loving public to go and buy tickets in advance, as encounters between all four teams are action-packed" Ravele stated.
Gates for the 'Brazilians' v 'Matsatsantsa a Pitori' match open at 11.00 and football fans are requested to come early at the stadium to enable smooth entry into the venues.
Tickets are available at Computickets (nationally), and also at the Thlabane Spar in Rustenburg.
The second semi-final, which has been dubbed as the 'Soweto Derby', will be contested by rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows; and it takes place on Sunday, September 24 at the ABSA Stadium in Durban (Kick-off: 15.15).
Gates for the KZN encounter open at 10.00. The traditional free parking at Kings Park is no longer available - due to reconstruction activities in the area. Supporters are requested to park their vehicles at the following areas:
- The Kings Park Swimming Pool area
- Athletic Stadium
- Cycling track
-Stables and Snel Parades
Tickets for this match are available at Computicket (nationally).
Ravele also added that both matches have been classified as "Category A" or "High Risk" matches; and that body searches will be conducted at all entry points, gates and turnstiles of both venues.
