Midfielder Lerato Chabangu is back with the rest of the squad, after doing duty for Bafana Bafana at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
This was the 27-year-old's second AFCON, having been included in the squad that did duty at the 2008 edition hosted in Ghana under Carlos Alberto Parreira.
Chabangu played in all three of Bafana's matches in 2008 and made just one appearance this time around when he came off the bench in the 0-0 draw with Cape Verde in the tournament opener.
Injury ruled him out of the second encounter against Angola, which his team-mates won comfortably with a 2-0 scoreline and became pacesetters of Group A.
With a winning team in place, the Swallows maestro missed the tense 2-2 draw with Morocco - which saw Bafana cling to the top spot - but he certainly fed off the energy of that memorable encounter.
The hosts were unfortunate to be knocked out in the quarterfinals on penalties by Mali, when neither side managed to break the 1-1 deadlock after extra-time.
Chabangu is looking sharp and raring to go when the Birds visit Ajax Cape Town at Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday evening (kick-off 7.30pm).
