The Birds are off to the Mother City to visit Ajax Cape Town for an Absa Premiership encounter on Wednesday night (kick-off 7.30pm).
The whole flock agrees that there is no better time than now to launch a league assault, with 13 matches left in the league campaign.
The resumption of the season, coincides with the return of Siyabonga Nomvethe to full fitness after a long lay-off because of a broken toe.
The 35-year-old evergreen attacker was in devastating form in his last match, when he, together with Mpho Maleka, Bennett Chenene and leading goalscorer Katlego Mashego, destroyed Orlando Pirates in their own backyard.
Nomvethe was involved in Maleka's opener and also set up the second for Chenene, before Mashego stepped up off the bench to score with his first touch for a sensational 3-0 victory.
The Birds do not expect an easy outing in Cape Town, as their opponents are also desperate to get their form up and move up the log standings.
Swallows are currently 11th on the standings, three places above Ajax with two points difference going into the match.
