After finishing 2007 on a high note, the 'Beautiful Birds' started the second half of the season poorly, losing three matches in a row.
But the 'Birds' look like they have turned the corner again after registering consecutive wins over Sundowns and Bloemfontein Celtic. However, Mazibuko says it is too early to celebrate as the season is far from finished.
"The league has improved a lot and there are no more easy games. We are just taking each game as it comes," Mazibuko told the official Sundowns website.
He added: "If you look at our upcoming game against Black Leopards you will realise that there is so much at stake for both teams. For us, we want to consolidate our position on the log, while Leopards want to move off the bottom of the log.
"We are expecting a very tough game against Leopards on Wednesday. We need to score an early goal as that will put a lot of pressure on the opposition. They will then need to come forward in search of the equaliser and that?s when we will look to punish them."
Mazibuko was full of praise of his defence and strikers.
"When your defence is strong, it makes things easier for the strikers to do their job, which is scoring goals. We will try not to concede any goals against Leoards, but in the meantime we will be looking to continue scoring," concluded Mazibuko.
