Stars aligning for Swallows?

After Wednesday's story about a unique hat-trick of wins - Moroka Swallows have won their last three league matches by a 3-1 margin - the stars seem to be aligning even more for the 'Beautiful Birds' this season.

Swallows hammered Black Leopards 3-1 in Absa Premiership action this past Wednesday, having also beaten Mamelodi Sundowns (last Wednesday) and Bloemfontein Celtic (Sunday) by the same margins over the past few days.

Whilst a hat-trick of 3-1 victories is quite unique, further inspection of the Absa Premiership log revealed even more interesting facts...

Swallows, who are in seventh place on the standings, have 31 points from 21 matches and have scored 31 goals, whilst conceding 31 goals at the same time.

If that is not saying something, then what is? Swallows' stars are aligning and the 2007/08 season could just be one to remember!

Swallows host Thanda Royal Zulu at Olenpark on Sunday, with head coach Ian Gorowa saying: "We have to be very careful of them as they are in a desperate need of a win and I expect them to come hard on us."

Don't follow me, follow the 'Birds'!
