'Birds' to fly over Warriors

Moroka Swallows will play National First Division (NFD) Inland Stream side African Warriors in a rescheduled Nedbank Cup Last 32 match at Charles Mopeli Stadium on Wednesday night (kick-off 8pm).

The match, which was supposed to have taken place on Saturday, was called off due to bad weather.

The 'Beautiful Birds' will go into this game with their tails up after witnessing fellow Absa Premiership sides - BidVest Wits, Bloemfontein Celtic and Thanda Royal Zulu - all going down to the so-called 'smaller teams' at the weekend.

But with coach Ian Gorowa having an almost full squad to choose from, coupled with the 'Birds' recent form in the Absa Premiership, Swallows are favourites to win this one.

Can Swallows go all the way in the Nedbank Cup?

Yes, they can, cup football is suited to their game!
No, cup football is too much of a lottery.
Perhaps - but they need to build on their recent form.
