Chamanga - 'Avoid complacency'

Moroka Swallows' five-goal hero James Chamanga has urged his team-mates to avoid complacency when they tackle Free State Stars in an Absa Premiership match at Goble Park on Wednesday afternoon (kick-off 3.30pm).

Chamanga - who rewrote the history books by scoring five goals during the 'Birds' 6-2 demolition of Platinum Stars on Sunday - believes 'Ea lla Koto' pose an entirely different challenge to the 'Tycoons'.

"Stars are not sitting in second position by chance, they deserve to be there because they are a very good team. It will be suicidal of us to underestimate them," Chamanga told the official Swallows website.

He added: "Unlike the previous season, the 2007/08 Absa Premiership is unpredictable and any team can win it at this stage. Every game is difficult and there no more small teams; we need to give Stars the respect they deserve.

"But if there is another opportunity for us to score an avalanche of goals, we won't hesitate to convert them. Who knows? We might need these goals at the end of the season."
