Birds nest restructured

The Moroka Swallows Board has been reshuffled and increased to five members because of the resignation of Gavin Bernstein from his position as an Executive Director.

The two new Directors are Bennett Mtshali, who is already an executive, and Selwyn Zackon, a non-Executive Director.

Leon Prins, John Benjamin and Gavin Bernstein, who is now a non-Executive Director, have all been retained on the Board.

Meanwhile, a management committee has also been established to handle decisions on operational matters. Prins, Mtshali and club PRO Sipho Xulu are all members of this committee, which will be known as Manco.

"From time-to-time invitations will be extended to the members of supporting structures to be part of Manco meetings and contribute in the decision-making," Xulu told the club's official website.

He added: "The restructuring has created a need for replacements and redeployments in certain areas. Manco members will share the servicing of those areas until further notice."
