Xulu on 'Operation Search & Find'
Tuesday April 25 2006
In his column this week, Birds PRO Sipho Xulu talks about the past weekend's R(CAPITAL R)oadshow(ONE WORD) in Gauteng and also announces supporters meetings.
Operation Search and Find 'The Birds' Roadshow started in Gauteng this past weekend.
Two successful meetings took place at Delville Sports Ground Hall on Saturday and Emfuleni's Batloung School in Sebokeng on Sunday.
I am proud to announce that there is a spark to destroy division and build bridges amongst all the disciplined and faithful members of the Beautiful Birds.
I therefore urge all the Birds to be positive and do what is right, but also leave a room for improvement.
Our next meetings are scheduled as follows:
Sunday, April 30 at Bulelani School in Mohlakeng, Randfontein at 10am.
Sunday, April 30 at Sibonelo High School
Sunday, May 7 at Ipeleng in White City,(COMMA) Jabavu at 10am.
Sunday, May 7 at 20382 Buffer Zone at 9am.
Sunday, April 30 at Giyani Section at 9am.
Sunday, April 30 at Masupapa at 9am.
Sunday, April 30 at Boitumelo Public School, in Jouberton, at 9am.
The issuing and replacing of cards will begin at the end of May, or before,as we are still busy with logistics. This does not mean that people must stop applying now because the earlier you apply, the better. We will produce cards on a first-come-first-served basis.
As a token of appreciation to our past heroes; ex-officials, former players and former shareholders will receive a free lifelong membership. We therefore invite them to send applications for renewal.
