'Birds' reserves to play Cosmos

Moroka Swallows' Reserve side will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they take on the Jomo Cosmos Reserves at Boksburg Stadium later today (kick-off 4pm).

The 'Birds' lost 0-1 to Orlando Pirates last week, but Swallows' Head of Development, Paul Habib, believes the 'Birds' will fly over 'Ezenkosi' today.

"We need to win this one in order to boost our confidence. We played well against Pirates, but experience was the deciding factor in the end as Pirates had seasoned professionals in their starting line-up," Habib told the official Swallows website.

He added: "This time around, we will have experienced players like Goodman Mazibuko, Ashley Opperman, Sibusiso Dlamini, Patrick Thwala, Mame Niang, Evans Gwekwerere, Aubrey Mathibe and Bongani Mbhele in the team.

"We respect Cosmos, but we really have to win this one."

Swallows supporters in and around the Boksburg area have been urged to go along and support their team.

'Don't follow me, follow the Birds!'
