MOROKA SWALLOWS TEAM NEWS:
Moroka Swallows ladies have been registered in the 2006/07 provincial Vodacom Women's League.
The following is the list of all the squad players and the technical staff:

Janine van Wyk (National U20 and senior team player)

Janine Van Wyk has been called to the camp of the senior National team (Banyana Banyana), which started on Sunday, August 10. This is in preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations that will take place in September in Nigeria. We wish all our girls the best of luck.
FIRST-TEAM INJURY NEWS:

Saturday, September 16 is a special day for our Development teams:
- The U17s are the league champions!
With one game to go, the Under-17 league is in the nest, as our team is currently five points clear; winning the Gauteng East Central District Senior League. The final game will take place on Saturday, September 16 at 14h00 against Panorama FC at Germiston, Delville sports grounds.
- U15s in the U19s Finals!
Earlier in the day, at the same venue, come watch our U15s, who have proven that talent has no age by reaching the finals of Gauteng East Central District Football association's Under-19s Super Cup. They will be playing against Mamelodi Sundowns in the finals at 10h00. The presence of our supporters will be highly appreciated as our boys have achieved beyond expectations. Special words of appreciation must go to the coaching staff of both the U15s and the U17s for a job well done. They are Reginald Ketse (U17s coach), Thabo Molefe (U17s assistant coach), Peter Tressel (U15s coach), and Paul Habib (Development Head Coach.)

September is the month in which I will be handing over the PRO's activities to the young, dynamic and energetic Sello Maugane, who has finally landed this Monday in the nest as our new mouthpiece. On behalf of all 'The Birds' loving people, I welcome you, 'The Birds voice' feel at home and let's take the bull by its horns.
Maswaimani we shall be taking an advantage of every available opportunity such as home games and supporters meetings to officially introduce him to you! During September he will be on a month-long induction and will become available for comments to press and supporters from October 1, 2006.
