Mokoro - 'Birds' ready to resume flight'

Moroka Swallows have been actively fine-tuning their focus during the 2007/08 Premier Soccer League season recess, but according to midfield-cum-striker Tsweu Mokoro, the team is raring to go once again.

On Friday, the 'Beautiful Birds' players gathered at Germiston Lake for a team-building 'braai', which Mokoro believes helped the squad gel.

"The mood in the camp is good," Mokoro told morokaswallows.co.za, "we had an awesome 'braai' on Friday afternoon; everyone was there, the players, technical staff and management.

"We will have another team-building session on Saturday ahead of Sunday's match against Golden Arrows where we will just relax and prepare mentally for the game."

On the challenge of coming up against Arrows, Mokoro added: "They are not an easy team to play against because they are good on the ball.

"[But] we have everyone back from injury including James Chamanga, while Sandile Ndlovu is starting to gain full fitness; so we should be able to field a strong team that can win us the game."
