Bayhill Under-19 tournament:

Our U19 team will be leaving on April 3 for Cape Town to take part in the prestigious annual Bayhill tournament which starts on April 5. All Cape Town Swallows supporters are encouraged to come down and support our 'Beautiful Birds' of the future. The team has been drawn into a difficult group including Supersport United, Old Mutual Academy and Cultural Roots FC. Good luck boys!

Holla Maswai-swai holla!

I am pleased to inform you that our assistant coach Daniel 'Vader' Mophosho has been discharged from hospital after a two week, he is feeling much better and we wish him a speedy return to fitness.

One of our former star players and the coach of our U19 team Joel 'Ace' Mnini has been hospitalised in a Soweto private clinic after a serious diabetes attack. We wish him a speedy recovery, and to his family our thoughts are with you in these difficult times.

I would like to inform you that Sello Maugane has left 'The Birds Nest' to pursue other interests. We thank him for his services and wish him well in his new venture.

Lastly don't miss the Official Celebration Launch of the new Supporters Club on April 1 at Germiston Stadium, we will be playing our old Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs and have a full day of activities planned so see you there!
