'Birds' Reserves lose to Chiefs

Moroka Swallows lost 1-3 to Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs in a Reserve League match played at Eldorado Park Stadium on Thursday afternoon.

A brace from Louis Agyemang and a goal from Serge Djiehoua were enough to earn Chiefs a valuable win against the 'Birds'.

Swallows consolation goal was scored by Mame Niang from a penalty spot  in the 57th minute after Chiefs' Lawrence Molekwane was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the penalty area.

Earlier on Niang was unlucky not to score a brace when he headed the ball against the Chiefs goal post, but Chiefs 'keeper Ryan Wuest was able to pull it out of the air.
