Preview - Swallows v Santos

Moroka Swallows will be looking to return to winning ways when they host Santos at Olenpark in an Absa Premiership clash on Wednesday afternoon (kick-off 3.30pm).

The 'Dube Birds' were humbled 3-0 at home by Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates last week and were not in action at the weekend, while Santos recorded a convincing 3-2 win over AmaZulu on Sunday.

The two teams played to a 1-1 draw earlier in the 2007/08 season at Athlone, and Swallows will be looking to make the most of their home-ground advantage and claim the three points.
Coach Ian Gorowa told that preparations for Wednesday's match were well on track, and the players have already put the Pirates result behind them.
"There is a high morale in the camp," Gorowa said.

"The players have taken responsibility for the loss to Pirates and have been working on the areas where we were not at our best in that game."
Swallows have no injuries, but will be without Japhet Zwane who is out suspended.
Gorowa will, however, be able to call upon his top goal-scorer James Chamanga, who missed the Soweto derby due to suspension and because he was undergoing a trial in Norway.
